A PREQUEL
Disowned, stripped of her title and banished to a small cabin at the edge of Elverstone, Siya has been living a lonely life for the past eighteen years. Her only companions are her illegitimate daughter and the injured animals she brings home for her to treat. When an unassuming ghlipon steps into a bear trap and scrambles deeper into the forest Siya takes it upon herself to track her and wrap her most likely broken leg. Even wounded a ghlipon could run miles and this one leads her deeper into Ferranti forest where peril creeps around every corner. The Death Court is more dangerous than any other predator in the entire realm. Six of their fiercest warriors, one of them being their king, find Siya cowering against a tree.
Fifty years ago, the Death Court’s feeding grounds were restricted by the high council of Belfean Fairy Courts. Starving and desperate, King Grath takes his warriors to hunt a rare bird for a ritual that is supposed to restore his court’s standing in the realm. He never expected to run into a nature fairy royalty this deep in Ferranti. Her life force could be the salvation to his entire court. Grath gets wrapped up in the allure of Siya’s delicate potential, his original mission becoming secondary, then completely discarded. Now, how do you tell a woman that her life force is meant to feed the Death Court? You simply don’t.
His touch could kill her. Her life could save him. The balance of the entire realm lies in their hands.
FIRST BOOK
Collecting life force is essential for death fairies survival. To give it away is a death sentence.
Isay’s life drastically changed when she was forced into the Death Court of the Fae. Although one might expect to feel safe when being guarded like a Royal treasure, Isay is far from it. Her life force attracts the attention of every death fae. Her guardians might more successfully control their hunger, but no one is entirely immune to her appeal. In the midst of intrigue and fear, she is drawn to one of her protectors. Karmuth’s softer demeanor, and incredibly blue eyes, lull Isay to believe he poses less of a threat. She will learn in time that the opposite is true.
Karmuth has an arrangement with one of the courtesan’s in the court: sex for life force. He never considered why Sela offered the deal, collecting life force without killing his victims was the sole reason he kept going back to her. The arrangement never interfered with his personal affairs but an irresistible nature fairy may change that. Isay’s innocence and determination captivated him from the moment he first saw her. Her presence also awakened an insatiable hunger that Sela’s services failed to alleviate.
When Isay runs into danger head first,Karmuth must protect her from more than the Death Court and himself, but also a brewing conflict with an ancient enemy.
Friends are not to be trusted, love is a distraction, and death is certain. But whose death?
SECOND BOOK
Coming...
A magical action-packed adventure that features a group of unlikely companions comprised of different types of fantastic creatures that normally wouldn't cohabitate, let alone be friends.
The group's anchor, a dainty little elf named Evyline, is admired for her bravery, tenacity, and concern for others over herself. Different circumstances and previous relationships brings the group to secure their unsuspected partnership while attending Volo Noscere University.
While in attendance at the university, a series of seemingly natural disasters have occurred in their homes. The band of students have set off to embark on a deadly journey in hopes of solving the mystery of the attacks.
The journey is very dangerous and their lives are at stake, but if they don't try to do something, the lives of the entire world that they know could meet destruction. Of the group of students, Evyline initially turned out to be the most overlooked among the group because of her petite stature and mild-manners, but they, and many of the professors at Volo Noscere, are learning that little Evyline is more powerful than anyone anticipated.
